The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
is responsible for executing the Federal laws protecting the environment such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Toxic Substances
Control Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Compensation, and
Liability Act (or "Superfund").
