• Adelaide University Solar Vehicle Team We are entering a vehicle in the 1996 World Solar Challenge race from Darwin to Adelaide, Australia. The race is for solar powered vehicles only and vehicles must conform to strict design rules.
  
• Drexel University - SunDragon Solar Car A university-wide student organization developing and racing solar electric vehicles. We also visit elementary and high schools to discuss solar energy and alternative vehicles.
  
• Global Green Cat - The first terrestrial solar circumnavigator, a 13.9m solar powered catamaran departing Weymouth UK April/May 1996
• MINEXSOL Centrale Lille - MINiatures à EXploitation SOLaire is an association of students. We organize each year a race of solar RC vehicles.
• MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team is a student organization devoted to designing, building, racing, and educating students about highly competitive solar and electric cars.
  
• Umass Lowell Solar Racing Team - Student run organization which designs, builds, and races solar vehicles
• University of Pennsylvania Solar Racing Team The Mechanical Engineering Department, our organization is made of undergraduate students at the U. of Pennsylvania. We build, test, and race solar powered cars.
  
• University of Waterloo - Midnight Sun Solar Car Project Student organization designed to build, operate, and race solar vehicles.
